What I felt like when I read this – today…
One year ago
Fellow hot dog vendor, Mr. Tom Fanella spoke to me last year, about his success at an event with his hot dog cart. He was 73 then and now at 74 he just completed the same event with a huge success.
Today He writes
Hey, Ben Tom Fanella here from WI. My wife and son did rock ranch last yr, remember..
Well the BIG DOG Cart did it again at this years Concert. Started 930am closed 11pm,
sold 1080 Hot Dogs, 150 Polish Sausage, and 200 Brats. All off the BIG DOG Cart. We Had 3 people putting the dogs, brats, and polish on the buns, and 3 people dressing the
Sausages. And 3 people getting all the food out of the freezer truck..Well my son takes all the credit on this one, My wife did a Ice Cream set up (not very good for concerts). And I sat in my chair and watched all the action. My legs just will not let me do this anymore .
I really miss being around the people and the action.. Well Ben, just wanted `to let you know that everything went well because of you, never stop reading your tips and advice..
Thanks again From Tom Fanella from WI
You can read the article and listen to the call I had with Tom last year, here.
Talk about making my day
This does it. Wake up and it’s better than coffee, to read about the success of a fellow vendor. What is even more exciting to me is that Tom and his wife are no spring chickens and they took an idea they had, over a year ago and turned it into a successful operation. And you gotta know I’m proud of the Big Dog hot dog cart. It’s a work horse.
Thank you Tom
For making my day, for taking the time to write me and for the outstanding report. Keep up the good work!
