Jason Brown posted about his hot dog vendor daycare program on Facebook
…and people love it. I’ve checked and you don’t even need a license to do this. Ladies can drop off their husbands with Jason while going shopping or to get ‘ther hair did’. You can click below for a bigger image.
So fellow vendors, what are you doing to engage customers?
Of course this isn’t going to mean the Love Hot Dog Co. has to put up swingsets and fence in the play area, but what it does; it personalizes and shows a human side to a business. If you had never heard of Love Hot Dog Co but saw the cute and friendly public statements like the one above, you might just want to go check it out. Already you know this company is funny, they are friendly and we should check them out. It doesn’t hurt to have ‘Love‘ in your name either. Another fine marketing idea.
Many vendors offer up things that make people feel welcome. Jason’s post on Facebook doesn’t mean wives are going to be lined up tomorrow to drop off their husbands, but it brands Love Hot Dog Co in their minds as a friendly fun place. All it takes is something simple like this to bring in a few new customers and who knows, one of those may end up making you a household name.
Do you have any ideas that could bring in more customers?
