Do you want to make some Money?   I knew you would!  For two years I have had a few vendors that were willing to do training in their area.  If you are an active vendor and would like to help others while making some cash, then your services are needed.

Every week I get calls with people wanting me to train them.  I simply don't have time and resort to posting training online for the benefit of anyone.  Still there are those that want someone to help them figure out their state codes, figure out the local ordinances, figure out what cart to buy and how to get started.

There is no catch, no gimmicks!  The future trainees won't have to fill out some form on my website or have to sign up to get more info.  They will simply click a link which will show current vendors whom are willing to provide assistance in that area.  No you don't have to travel, unless you want to.  (there are some that do)

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY?  Glad you asked.  Come up with a fair fee to charge.  Obviously I don't want someone ripping people off, but it would not be wrong to charge a few hundred bucks for some hands on training one day.  For example.  John Jacob Jegleheimer Smith from Charlotte, NC wants to get started selling hot dogs but doesn't want or hasn't the time to find out all the regulations, contact phone numbers, etc..  He also wants to purchase a cart and have you show him how to use it once, cook some dogs and stuff.  Well being as you are in Gaston County, NC – just next door to Mecklinburg county, you decide to charge $150 for 1 to 2 hours of on sight cart training.  Then you offer to give him the information you have already learned and help him contact the Mecklinburg county health department for $50+ depending on the time required.  (just made those figures up on the fly for example)

Can you make more, sure.  Let's say you are willing to travel some, there will be those that want help and are in areas that don't have active vendors.  Bottom line, it's up to you what you charge, it's up to you how far you go and how much help you provide, just keep in mind, be honest and fair.  I will refer anyone needing help to you.

Here's some ideas for you;

1. Help getting their local and state rules.
2. Help contacting the health department and getting schematics evaluated
3. Help locating a commissary
4. Help finding a location or two
5. Help picking out a menu and prices
6. Help finding  suppliers
7. On-sight training, cart training, licensing etc.

I'm not trying to talk you out of slinging dogs, I'm just trying to help others with this large network of vendors.  We can all help.  No one will expect it for free.  I don't want to be an ass, but please please be fair when pricing.  I want to hear good, wait no – great feedback.

Ok, I will accept a nudie pic or two, but that's where I draw the line.  I just want to help out and I think this is a great way to help others by connecting this great network of vendors.  Keep in mind, even if you are new yourself but have already gotten licensed or found a commissary, this may help someone.  All you have learned to get where you are will help someone else.  Let's do it!
