Anton with FEWD Tent Bradenton, FL here. We contacted you way back in December about how to get off the ground with our life changing business.We took your advice to “Sell the crap outa our cottage food” and lemme tell you brother, last Christmas was goodin.
I've got the itch my man. We've been dabbling and adding to the taco stand side of our venture slowly. We now own a starter cart and have 3 weekly locations with a following.
I refer to learnhotdogs.com and the Vendors United for most of my decisions but I'm stumped. We are at the point of needing real legality as some locations are requesting a business license. My question is, what comes first?
• Business license for Florida
• EIN
• Food vendors inspection for cart
• Insurance.In a matter of 4 months we have made enough to really give this a good run. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
We found the cart “Betsy” resting in a back yard rusting away. Breathed new life into her with some speakers, LED lights and a whole lotta love and paint. About $1000 for the cart and restoration, what a deal!!!
