After a successful day in the sun, slinging weenies and pleasing people comes the dreaded hot dog cart cleanup.  Professional Vendors share their tips and tricks on making this task much easier.  Below you'll also find out what I learned from a very busy vendor who simply refuses to clean her own cart but nonetheless – her hot dog cart remains spotless!

Multiple Solutions

• CLEAN AS YOU GO (A MUST DO) This saves you time later, keeps your hot dog cart looking great but still doesn't help with the pan cleanup after you've closed for business that day.
• USE PAN LINERS – NEVER CLEAN ANOTHER PAN
• USE CONDIMENT BOTTLES FOR CHEESE SAUCE AND EVEN YOUR CHILI (Listen for tips)
• BOIL WATER IN PANS WHILE CLEANING UP

A NEW TIP (NOT ON THE SHOW)

Above I mentioned a lady who never has to face the dreaded hot dog cart cleanup.  She went on Craigslist and put an ad in the workplace (help wanted) section.

Great Pay! Work From Home!
Clean my hot dog cart and pans after each day for a great part time income.  Must live near XXXXXXXXX area of town and be available to clean 2 to 3 carts each day.

She pays only $20 per cart and yes that is money she could keep for herself, but she has eliminated the most dreaded part of her job.  Best of all she says, “Everyday my carts look great, each afternoon I go home and count money, order products and spend time with my family.  I don't have to spend that time cleaning anymore!”

Imagine never again having to face the dreaded hot dog cart cleanup.  I wouldn't recommend this at first and only once your funds allow for the expense, but my gosh – this is fantastic.
