Another vendor is facing the ignorant and often malicious local government.

Rosko knows the powers that be are playing to the local restaurant owners.  In fact the news station makes that point at the end of the video.

I believe she needs to do a tad more research on the precedence set in previous cases. It's a code that can not stand up in court. Unfortunately we aren't all able to go seek the services of an attorney.

I also believe that one good researcher or investigator could uncover ties with the lawmakers, attorney and city officials to local restaurants. Maybe a sister in law, a cousin or church friend owns an establishment who's opinions are preferred over law.

No guy is on his way to the steak house or the local country cook'n buffet and says; “oh heck, look it's a hot dog vendor, lets go get one.” It's asinine for an attorney to assume this. What if I open a hot dog restaurant next door to that established pre-existing eatery. Is the city going to ignore my rights and say, nope, we have too many restaurants so you can not open as this may hurt the business of the existing restaurants? What?

Did she go to school? Does she not know that competition breeds and encourages better quality, better customer service and all around is better for consumers, her voting citizens?

Who is she to say that if my eating establishment cost less than another then I am a threat? This city needs a reality check. Maybe a lawsuit would that hit their already struggling budget would be just the thing.

I can not wait until NAHDV is an force to be reckoned with. Slowly but surely, step by step we will get this done.

Edit: I forgot to mention; the City officials said they made the rule change for the sake of safety.  Yeah, that's it.  I searched the news archives and could find no instance of a vendor related traffic accident.  Seems they are using the spaghetti rule, you know; throw it on the wall and hope it sticks.  They just pick something randomly and hope the public buys it.
