Texarkana, TX Police Officer James Harris and wife Margaret are in the news with their new hot dog cart business; Hot Diggity Dogs.  When previous arrangements fell through, James jumped in is car and drove from Texarcana, TX to Sevierville, TN to pick up his brand new Big Dog.  Over 10 hours he drove, picked up his new hot dog cart and headed back.  He blew a tire and was stranded for awhile on the side of the road, tired and weary from the trip, the excitement of his new business kept him going and eventually he made it back home.  

I can always tell those whom will succeed in this business by the effort they take prior to getting started; those folks read and study all they can, they learn the business, the rules, the codes and they are ready when the time comes to start slinging dogs.  Mr. Harris is no exception, he read my course, book; “hot dogs saved my life“, he got all the codes and did all the due diligence before ordering.  So a flat tire and a 20+ hour drive packed into a day and a half was not going to deter him whatsoever.
