Ben, my supplier stopped selling, I can’t get my regular hot dogs from Sam’s Club!
What do I do?
It happens.
Sometimes our supplier just stops carrying the brand of hot dog (or whatever).
What if it happens?
Go back to the drawing board. Find a new brand.
Do another taste test!
Make sure you know what your market likes.
Sometimes you can find the direct manufacturer.
Start with a broad-line distributor. Especially smaller local ones.
Tell them what brand you want.
My go to is to buy a local made dog. Look for local butchers.
Don’t forget the tried and true brands in the grocery store: Oscar Meyer, Ball Park, etc…
Sometimes your grocery store will give you a big discount.
Just ask!
