I know I have talked about this before, but it's incredibly important.

If you are a full time vendor then it's imperative if you desire growth and a following of faithful customers.  I have previously discussed QR codes which are very helpful in delivering tons of information in one simple code.   But Facebook and Twitter are the new “word of mouth”.  Here tech savvy reporter Adam Balkin does a story on food carts and the power of social media.

This application works with many smart phones and gets it's updates from Twitter.  Talk about ingenious.  The vendor only updates Twitter and then anyone, even non-subscribers whom don't know, whom have never heard of a particular vendor are directed towards that vendor.  A cool app and it's FREE.  Gastrodamus Application

From interactive maps, online ordering, customized coupons and more, this application is kicking and uses Google maps to direct those fans to your exact location.  FoodTruck FastPass

For my Vancouver friends, not that you can't use the above apps but here's one specific for your area.

If you live in a large Metropolitan area you may have a local application available – so do a Google or Bing Search.
