For this video I decided to do a little street food Q&A, to answer some questions I’ve received lately on street food vending.

- Can I sell popcorn without a license? (5:00) The short answer is yes! In many states you can even do kettle corn with little to no licensing. But in pretty much every state you can do popcorn from home as a Cottage Food. That’s how this vendor got started! Right in their kitchen!

- A Rant (11:15): I went on a bit of a rant about stuff. Ignore the crap! Instead of focusing on what’s wrong in the world, focus on what you’re doing and how you can make your little corner a better place. Above all, Love each other!
- Can street food vendors make money in a post-Covid world? (@15:00) YES! Vendors are still making crazy $$$
- What if my inspector says I can’t have cheese on my cart? (16:21) Here’s one work-around! Cheese Wiz! Worked for me.
- Grilled dogs shrinking and shriveling? (17:14) I give you a couple ways to deal with it! Grill a few ahead, but not too many. Here’s a video about the pros/cons of grilling, steaming, or boiling hot dogs.
- What if there’s too much competition in my town? (20:00) Answer? There isn’t! “How many gas stations do you have?” No matter the size of town, there’s enough room for you to make killer money. Small towns are actually BETTER for vending! Check out this video, where I answer it in more detail.
