Why not just get bigger and bigger. Most entrepreneurs are Type A people. We want it, we make it happen and we all want more, more more. But bigger isn't always better. Along with growing your business comes more risk. Tonight we hear from experienced vendors and learn a lot about growing your business. Getting too big too quick can spell disaster.
HUGE VENDOR MISTAKE
Recently a vendor called me, she was in a panic. A customer has filed a lawsuit stating they were burnt on the hand from hot chili which was served on her hot dog.
No problem I answered, your insurance company will handle it for you. Calm down.
“But I don't have insurance!”
WHAT?! You don't have insurance. Oh my gosh. She rambled on about how she called the attorney who's name was on the letter, how he told her that if found liable, she would be required to pay all fees and damages.
My heart sunk as she told me the story. I didn't waste my time reprimanding her for not having insurance and advised her to seek legal counsel immediately. But the truth is, she should have had insurance.
If I've said it once, I've said it 100 times: DO NOT SLING THE FIRST HOT DOG WITHOUT INSURANCE!!! You may be broke right now, but imagine having to pay thousands of dollars in damages over the next 10 years. It'd be just as safe to play Russian Roulette.
Why chance it? For less than one dollar a day you can have $2,000,000 that's 2 Million Dollars in insurance and a team of lawyers on your side in the event of accidental injury. For only $299 annually you can sleep well knowing that someone else will fight the fight if the need arises.
I wouldn't dare serve the first hot dog without having insurance and hope you won't either. If you don't have it, stop what you are doing right now and CLICK HERE NOW and get protected today!!!
Vendor Gets Gig From T Shirt?
Yes, we heard from a vendor who actually wore a hot dog mafia tshirt and he scored a 7 day a week gig! Listen in to learn more.
Among One Prank Call
I took many other calls. Hear from John Cavanaugh who struggled for 2 years before his business was doing what he wanted. Now his biggest problem is selling out too soon. Other vendors shared and some asked questions.
