You know what the best hot dog cart location to start vending is?
I'm talking like your first day or two?

This is one of the best places to start your hot dog cart business.
And not that you couldn't stay there and do it on and on and on.

But the reason I say this is because so many vendors are nervous that first day.

They'll do their due diligence, they'll get a hot dog cart, they'll get their licensing and they're getting ready to get started and…

Oh my gosh, scared to death!

And it's normal. Don't worry about it.
It's perfectly okay.
It is completely normal.

I was as scared as hell when I started and I was nervous.

I mean, I was worried I'd mess up (like anybody notice cause they ain't vendors).

But the point is, we build this up and then that day comes in, and it's like, Oh man, what do I do?

I'm going to be out in front of, you know, try to supply all by myself and scared.

And it's normal to be scared, but I want you to think about something.
And try this.

If you find a flea market or a farmer's market, those are vendors. This is the best hot dog cart location to start with.

Cause it helps when you have other vendors around you to kind of ease that fear, to feel like, man, I can do this.

There's always other vendors there, some of them first day too.

So it makes it easier to go into the vending business, as far as that first couple of days, if you'll start around other people, like minded people, people that are vendors.

And one of the best places in the world for that is a flea market.

At the end you may stay there. My daughters made a killing at the flea market.

I made a killing at the market!

I ended up having multiple hot dog carts at the same frickin flea market.

So you can do whatever you want there, but if you're nervous, if you're worried, it's completely natural, don't feel bad about it.

Oh man, I'm probably the only one that's ever felt nervous about doing this.

Nope. And Nope.

So it's just one of those things. It's inherent in it.

Just take a look at flea markets around your area.

Find out what a booth costs, tell them you're gonna be setting up a cart and that you want a good hot dog cart location.

You know, maybe an entry way, an exit way, somewhere in the flea market that way, outdoors or indoors.

A lot of them allow vinted. If they're indoors, they have huge vents and they'll allow your hot dog cart location to be set up indoors.

I've set up indoors and outdoors.

I prefer outdoors.

But in the winter it may be a little too cold for that, unless you prepare ahead and have three sided, you know, pop up tent and stuff like that.

If you'll set up your hot dog cart location there…

You'll do well.

You'll feel confident and comfortable cause there's other vendors around you and it'll make life easier.
