New York hot dog vendor makes a hot dog in 15 seconds. He works the same spot for 10 years – 7 days a week. He obviously has a bad addiction to vending or doesn't know my secrets on working less and making more in vending.

Or less. And some vendors, like the one in front of the Metropolitan Museum who can do a hot dog loaded up with toppings in about 9 seconds.

How fast can you make a hot dog? My busiest day ever was at an event. I served hundreds of hot dogs. Some with nothing, others loaded up with all the toppings. By the time it was done, I'd averaged one hot dog every 22 seconds.

It's good. But it's not anywhere near Mr. 9 Second Guy.

Well I guess – if I paid that much for my spot – I'd learn to be faster.
