Oh my me…it's free! Hot dog vendor accounting software. Thousands of businesses are using it, heck, tens of thousands. Why aren't you? It's easy and it will do more than those out of the box software systems and best of all it's…
No joke, not free-ish, not a trial version, it's 100% FREE.
There are many systems all which require learning to use, working around the little idiosyncrasies and dealing with the glitches. Both of these platforms are 100% free, updated constantly, new features added frequently and are simple to use.
Yes! You can still use your yellow pad
You know me… I've been preaching it for years. A yellow pad is an integral part of my business. But now with these software choices, I (as in my wife) can transfer the information from my yeller' pad over to the hot dog vendor accounting software.
Now I get charts and data and know with just a glance just how much my Big Dog hot dog cart is making me.
Don't spend your hard earned dollars buying something that you have to make fit you and your business, or buy a software package from a non-software company even though it says it is made for the hot dog vendors. These programs are a pain. They are buggy, glitchy and they never work exactly like you want. Even more, they cost money and it's never going to be updated without you spending more money.
Try these, what do you have to lose? NOTHING

Let me know what you think. I've messed around with the Wave and it is kick butt. Better than boxed software and even the software giants. Giddyup!
Recently I read an article outlining the pros and cons of many cloud-based accounting software systems. If you've got a little “nerd” in ya, you might wanna check this out. The article is done by the site Cloudwards.
The author really took time to break down the features and do comparative charts on features. It's certainly worth a look.
