Pay For A Location?
There are definitely times when it's worth it to pay for a spot to run your food cart. However, there are plenty of ways to find a location where you can set up your hot dog cart or mobile food stand for free. I have found that the way you “ask” for a location makes a big difference in the results. Watch the video here for the “pitch” I recommend when you talk to a business or location manager. The key is to emphasize the value you are offering to the business. In some cases, you might have the business asking you what you would charge to set up on their property, rather than being asked to pay a fee yourself.
