“Ben! What time of the day should I start vending?”
Easy one today.
What’re the best hours?
You don’t need to work all day. That’s just creating a regular job for yourself.
Plan on 11am to 2pm, max, unless it’s shift work at a factory… but that’s a regular job,… no one wants that…
Don’t forget the prep and clean up time. You can add a couple hours to the schedule to account for that.
Also, figure on shopping time to pick up product, until you move enough volume to get it delivered.
Don’t start with breakfast, and if you do it, just do it. Don’t try to be everything to everybody.
“How early should I arrive?”
I get there 45 minutes to an hour ahead to set up…
If a crowd shows up early, then come earlier.
It’s not rocket science!

Then get out there and start vending!
Don’t worry too much about all the tiny details. You’re gonna figure it out.
And you can join Vendors United, where you can ask questions all the time!
